Studio Rearranged

Euroracks and Bananas

For the Eurorack rearrangement I installed the 6U 84hp rack, already in a rack mount case, into the remaining 6U road case. The Quantisise rack sits on top, with its Furman 1U surge protector. All the banana jack modules are located closer together now.

MOTM Moved Out

I lent the big MOTM modular to a local synth venue for an indefinite period of time for synth geeks to patch. To make the move I insisted on removing all the modules, boxing them, and carrying the boxes, rather than risk moving the loaded cabinets.

It took me three to four hours to reload the cabinets.

Reassembled MOTM

All the MOTM format modules I own, except for three, are installed.

Eurorack cases

Most of my Euroracks

Missing from this picture are three of my Eurorack cases: the Mocante case, the 104hp wood case with cover, and the Intellijel 7U x 104 case that holds all my Ieaskul F. Mobenthey modules.

Thanks for the compliments! I’m glad to know my posts help the DIY synth community.

  5. I now learnt how to move a big modular system. Removing all the modules and packing them individually, just great and wise solution, thanks.
