I was exploring combinations of effects today. Ended up with this patch that starts with various plucked or bowed sounds from Mutable Instruments Braids (showing PLUK on the screen). Took Braids output through a Qu-Bit Cascase Envelope/VCA and into the left input of Qu-Bit Aurora (the one with the bright green display). Stereo outs from Aurora into Qu-Bit Data Bender and out of that into Veno-Echo.

A random pitch voltage was generated on each note and used for the 1V/octave input on Braids but also the pitch shifting on Aurora and the pitch shifting on Data Bender (in micro mode).

The first recorded snippet is almost “automatic”, but I did switch the algorithm in Braids and I think I pressed reverse on Aurora on and off.
