When patching the MOTM lately, I seem to go to the Blacet Binary Zone. Combined with the Modcan Quantizer it can quickly make a scaled sequence of up to 64 steps. This patch started off playing around with my CGS29 Wave Multiplier, fed by the sine output of the Synthesis Technology E340 Cloud Generator (converted to MOTM format). I set the E340 for dual voices and drove the spread with the inverted output of the BZ. After the wave multiplier the signal passes through a MOTM-420 filter and then the Synth Tech E580 Delay. Add in a couple of envelope generators and random generators and there it is.
