This experiment came about because I have no envelope generators in my DIY Ciat-Lonbarde collection. I have the quad VCA, but only triangles and triangle-like steps from the DIY Quantussy to modulate it with. Thus, I put together a small Eurorack case with two comparators, two envelope generators (Joranalogue Contour-1) and a VCA (Xaoc Tallin), plus a small AC-coupled preamp to boost the signals up to Eurorack levels. Tallin is set for no saturation.
The enveloped signals are started by making gates with the comparators from signals in the DIY Quantussy. Stereo audio is generated by two of the DIY Tetrazzi oscillators and amplitude modulated by the DIY Ciat-Lonbarde VCAs. After passing these through the preamp and Tallin, they go to the Cocoquantus inputs. We listen to the Cocoquantus outputs. Cocoquantus is applying delays, modulated by its own internal Quantussy.
DIY Tetrazzi has so many modulation possibilities, when I started this patch I used too many. That resulted in mush. For this take I used two of the oscillators as the mains and bounds modulated each of those with both of the other two oscillators. All of the oscillators also got pitch controls from the DIY Quantussy.
