Went into my studio intending to perform something on camera. Got out the Ciat-Lonbarde Sidrax, which is playable. Then I thought I would use the Fyrall, one of Peter Blasser’s more obscure designs. I had embellished the Fyrall with six switches, each to let an oscillator run free or be controlled chaotically. The Fyrall is controlling the SIdrax, by hitting the glitch inputs, as well as the main pitch CV input. Sidrax chaos is turned off. I used my DIY Quantussy to pitch control four Sidrax oscillators. The Sidrax main stereo output is not used. Instead, I took the oscillator outputs (Red jacks) over to my DIY Ciat-Lonbarde compatible VCAs and controlled the VCAs also from the Fyrall. A lot of people say that when you play a Peter Blasser instrument, you’re playing Peter’s music! So I played the Fyrall switches.

The full patch included the DIY Quantussy (left) and the DIY Quad VCA (above).
