Fade Pan Drone

Fade Pan Drone Patch

Four analog and four digital oscillators are tuned to fixed pitches. These eight sounds are cross-faded in pairs to four signals, using the ADDAC805.VS2 for two, and both Starling VIA Meta modules for the other two cross-faders.

The four resulting signals are mixed in the L-1 Stereo VC Mixer, where they receive amplitude and panning treatments. The resulting stereo then passes through Mimeophon and then through Microcell Clouds, which adds reverb. Finally, River Marble adds a bit of saturation.

That was lovely. What generated the CV for cross fading? For panning?

    akahn,

The CV for the ADDAC805.VS2 came from two cycle/shape outputs of Just Friends. The CV for cross fading in the Starling Via META is internal, a cycling envelope. Finally, the CV for the four panning channels in the L-1 VC Mixer came from four Tromso LFOs.
