I played out at a local event, Cambient Amping IV, doing an improvisation using mostly Peter Blasser instruments. Didn’t get a picture of the setup, but here’s what I used: Mocante Rack, Sidrax, Cocoquantus.

I swapped a different mixer into the Mocante rack, so that I could take the stereo out from the Sidrax. In addition to Sidrax sounds, the Mocante and the Unknown Pleasures were also mixed, so that I could play any of them singly or together at any time. The mix was passed through the 2hp Verb.

Control patch

Only the quantussy oscillators in Cocoquantus were used, not the delays. The five Castle sample & hold outputs were patched into five of the Sidrax FM inputs (blue jacks). Two outputs from Mr. Grassi were patched to the remaining two Sidrax FM inputs. Another Mr. Grassi output was patched to the Mocante FM input.

Radio reception

When playing the Unknown Pleasures, I found a sweet spot where a local radio station was demodulated. Thus I ended up channeling ethereal songs in the mist of it all.
