I tend to title my pieces by some description of how they are made. For this one I patched seventeen analog sample and holds in series, each sampling the output of the previous one, and clocking them alternately, each one having the clock inverted from the previous one.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The red and yellow traces on the scope represent the first and last sample. Notice how they change on the opposite clock (because of the odd number of S&H). The first S&H samples noise.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I set up four voices of VCO -> EG\/VCA – Mix -> Effects. The voices are mixed in pairs through a Klavis Mixwitch<\/a>. The mute button on the Mixwitch is really handy for manually gating the voice mix. The outputs of the two Mixwitch channels feed Data Bender<\/a> and from Data Bender to White Rabbit<\/a> in delay mode. The earlier recording is just this patch. Later I added CV over three Data Bender parameters, and routed the result to two effects, stereo cross-faded with 3DVCA<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
