The patch for the previous post uses my Big Euro Box.\u00a0 There are two parts:\u00a0 the control patch and the audio patch.\u00a0 Pardon the poor sketches.<\/p>\n

Control Patch<\/h3>\n

The control patch generates two sets of controls:\u00a0 six stepped controls from six sample & holds, and six envelopes from the Just Friends module.\u00a0 These can be applied to any audio patch.<\/p>\n

Control Patch<\/p><\/div>\n

Sampling & Holding<\/h3>\n

Troms\u00f8 is a combination of three basic utility modules: Triangle VCO\/LFO, Comparator (SQ), and Sample & Hold.\u00a0 I used three Troms\u00f8.\u00a0 In the block diagram the lower blocks represent the LFO with FM input, TRI and SQ outputs.\u00a0 The middle block represents the sample & hold in Troms\u00f8.\u00a0 The output of each S&H is patched to the FM of the same Troms\u00f8.\u00a0 Three more sample & holds, 2hp modules, are shown in the top row of blocks.\u00a0 These are sampling the TRI outputs and sending them over to the inputs of the other Troms\u00f8 sample & holds, in a cycle.\u00a0 All Troms\u00f8 are set to LFO range.<\/p>\n

Triggering<\/h3>\n

The SQ wave outputs of the three Troms\u00f8 patch through clock dividers to the three logic inputs of the Klavis Logica Gater.\u00a0 Logica Gater output clocks the Pithoprakta probabilistic pulse generator, which in turn provides six triggers for Just Friends in envelope generator mode.\u00a0 Just Friends gets some FM from the third stepped output.\u00a0 The same triggers clock the six sample & holds.<\/p>\n

Audio Patch<\/h3>\n

Ieaskul F. Mobenthey Fourses is made up of four interacting VCOs.\u00a0 Two of Fourses Bounds inputs are patched from two stepped controls in a manner as to separate these two from the other oscillators and make them more tonal.\u00a0 The Fourses outputs are patched to the dual inputs of two Make Noise LxD low pass gates.\u00a0 LxD CV inputs come from four envelopes of Just Friends.\u00a0 LxD outputs are mixed in the SSF Mixmode with its saturator enabled.\u00a0 The signal then passes through Dave Smith Instrument DSM03 Feedback and then through a Disting MKIII in Clocked Ping Pong Delay mode.\u00a0 DSM03 Timing is modulated by a stepped output from control, passed through a Mini-Slew for fixed slewing.\u00a0 Disting is clocked from the Ultra Random Analog (just the clock is used), which is modulated by one of the stepped outputs from controls.<\/p>\n

Example Recording<\/h3>\n
