holds.<\/p>\n<p>Each clock of the LFO triggers a new sample of the noise, and also drives a clock divider.\u00a0 The sample is quantized and routed to the 1V\/octave input of a VCO.\u00a0 The divider output (conveniently a +5V square wave) is sent to a slew limiter to generate an trapezoidal envelope for controlling the signal level of the oscillator output in the output mix.\u00a0 It&#8217;s a basic note generator.<\/p>\n<p>The fun experiment was to have the S&amp;H output also routed to control the slew rate of the following section and the LFO rate of the previous section, in a cycle of four.<\/p>\n<p>Manual settings include LFO initial rate, LFO CV depth, Oscillator initial frequency, initial slew rate.\u00a0 Here&#8217;s an example of one result.\u00a0 The oscillators were tuned by ear.<\/p>\n<audio class=\"wp-audio-shortcode\" id=\"audio-2535-1\" preload=\"none\" style=\"width: 100%;\" controls=\"controls\"><source type=\"audio\/mpeg\" src=\"https:\/\/pugix.com\/synth\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/01\/Q-Relative-1.mp3?_=1\" \/><a href=\"https:\/\/pugix.com\/synth\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/01\/Q-Relative-1.mp3\">https:\/\/pugix.com\/synth\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/01\/Q-Relative-1.mp3<\/a><\/audio>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>See this discussion thread on MW.\u00a0 A user posted an idea called a Q-Relative cell, by which he meant relative to a Quantussy cell.\u00a0 While it is not a Quantussy &#8230;
