A short demonstration of putting a VCA on the input to the CGS Wave Multiplier. The triangle wave from a MOTM-300 VCO is patched through a J. Haible Trapezoid VCA to the Triangle input of the Wave Multiplier. The recording is in three parts. First is the straight VCO triangle. Next we hear the Fold Out of the Wave Multiplier with the full signal, while I manually sweep the Fold pot, ending up with the pot at about 7.5 on the dial and leaving it there for the last part. Last we hear a cycling envelope controlling the VCA. The audio effect is due solely to the changing amplitude on the input.
