The idea for this patch was to patch each of the two Benjolins the way a Benjolin is normally connected internally. My project breaks the two oscillator, the filter, and the Rungler into separate modules. The normal internal patch starts with the Rungler being driven by the two oscillator pulses. The Rungler CV output goes to one CV input of each oscillator, plus one signal input and one CV input of the filter. The other filter input comes from the PWM output that compares the triangles of the two oscillators. The second filter CV comes from the triangle of the second oscillator. Then you play it by twiddling all the knobs.
This particular patch starts there, but with one difference: instead of the Rungler CV out, I took the XOR out, which is kinda weird on this circuit. The XOR output is driving all those CVs. The other twist is that I made the two oscillators from each Benjolin that are running as LFO to cross-modulate each other, connecting the Two Benjolins this way. I twiddled a little during recording.
Awesome sounds!
