This patch uses two of the oscillators in the DIY Tetrazzi. These are each patched through a VCA channel of the new CL VCA and into my Eurorack effects case. DIY Quantussy triangle LFO waves control the levels of the VCAs, and Quantussy sample and holds control pitches of the oscillators. That’s most of the patch. I did not use any intermodulation within the Tetrazzi, which results in clearer tones. The effect is the Erica Black Stereo Delay.

Awesome sounds Richard!! Great to see/hear the VCA in action!! 😀
Considering an Envelope Follower of sorts soon… what do you think? Would love your input haha.
Thanks, Josh. Did you mean an Envelope Generator, or really an envelope follower?
Very nice, Richard.
I recently finished a design for my own DIY Quantussy, which includes one of your CL VCAs per board (2 petals per… mido to the VCA supplied from the TL084 within said petal), and am very much looking forward to building it out and experimenting. Needless to say, I was also happy to read your recent “fix” post about the missing 100K resistor. I suppose procrastination occasionally has a positive benefit.
In further news, I utilized your Rollz 5 Mixer in my latest Fourses Tarp, which has had worthwhile results. Considering Peter’s explanation of Sandrodes and how they fuse together to create an entirely new signal when patched, I chose to use a single amp for two inputs which enables the pots to serve as both volume control and signal attenuation (assuming my theories here are accurate). Very interesting. The only strange activity I’ve encountered is sound at the output, which is present even in the absence of a cable plugged into the mixer. Not sure what the issue is there, but I imagine there could be worse things.
As always, thank you for your expertise.
Hi Alan. Interesting to hear about your DIY Quantussy. Do you post details about it anywhere? I’m curious. Glad you made use of the Rollz 5 Mixer design.
I haven’t posted details anywhere, no. I’m a notoriously bad documentarian, though I recently started placing my favorite circuits in proper enclosures (Nobsrine, DDDM2, APCS, Fourses Tarp, and the box I’m currently working on which consists of Chainlock, Spikering, Roolz 5/6, a Rungler, two Ultrasounds, a handful of 2-Roll LFOs , as well as your Rollz-5 Mixer!). Now that these are finally beginning to look presentable, I’d certainly like to share more with the community.
