I have a pair of Make Noise Function v1, 2012, the first release. I use them often. Their only drawback is the annoying power-up in cycling mode. A while back I switched the knobs, as shown in my Universal Slope Love post. The originals looked like this.

There have been a number of panels over the years.

I decided to replace the panels with ones from Mörk Modules.

Some people complain about Make Noise’s weird graphics, finding them confusing. Grayscale offered simplified versions, but Mörk has an even more minimal style. The only decorations are the box outlines around output jacks.
Replacing the panel
Since I had already replaced the knobs and fitted Bananuts, removing the knobs and nuts was all that was needed. Underneath I found that each jack had two washers mounted, behind the panel.

The black panel was fitted, held by the Bananuts. Gold for input, Silver for trigger and hang, Blue for control voltage inputs, Black for outputs, and Red for pulse outputs. Then replacing the black Davies clone knobs.
