Got the idea to make a patch imitating the block diagram of Hikari Duos.

The patch substitutes Toppobrillo Sport Modulator for the two VC LFOs, CubuSynth Engine for the two VCOs, Vult Freak filter in Nuage Vactrol Filter mode for the two LPGs, and Ritual Electronic Amnis shift register for the Chaos. To add a little more chaos to the Chaos, Joranalogue Orbit 3 gets mixed into the CV for the LFOs.

For effects on the performance Holocene NLMM is manually controlled. The output goes through dsp.Coffee TXn, to move the stereo mix closer to the center.

Before simplifying the patch it looked like the above. I tried taking the LPG outputs back into the CV mix for the LFOs, but that didn’t work as well as it does in the Duos. I also ran the CV mods to the LFOs through VCAs gated by Just Friends envelopes. Each LFO CV mix included a random voltage triggered by two Amnis gate outputs. It ran through two effects. All kinda messy but interesting.
