I really like this little excerpt from a long-running patch. The idea is to take a random melody created by some sample and hold sequence. This result is passed through a quantizer to get scale tones. For this I used the Blacet Miniwave in quantizer mode. The quantized voltage is multiplied into an arabesque sequence of three voltages by means of the CGS Analog Shift Register. These three voltages control three VCOs to make a shifting chord pattern. Filter and other effects are applied.
