This patch does two different types of modulation, Through-Zero FM and Through-Zero PM (Phase Modulation). Modules used:
- LA 67 T-ZED Oscillator
- Weston Precision TZ0 Oscillator
- Two NLC Sloth Chaos
- NLC Spasm
- Noise Engineering Sinc Defero active attenuator

The T-ZED does Phase Modulation, with control over the depth. The TZ0 does through-zero Frequency Modulation with control over the depth. The cross-modulation patch takes the sine wave from the T-ZED to the Linear FM CV of the TZ0, and at the same time the TZ0 sine wave patches to the phase Modulation input of the T-ZED. We listen to the triangle waves of each oscillator, sent to left and right channels with a little stereo delay added.
To make it interesting the NLC Spasm outputs are used as follows.
- Out 1 goes through an attenuator to the V/Oct input of the T-ZED.
- Out 2 goes through an attenuator to the V/Oct input of the TZ0.
- Out 3 goes to the T-ZED Index CV to control the depth of the PM.
- Out 4 goes to the TZ0 Env In CV to control the depth of the TZFM.
Finally two different variants of NLC Chaos modulate the Frequency and Inject CVs of the Spasm.
