After my investigations of the Hexinverter Mindphaser Complex Oscillator I continued on to make an automatically running patch.
I created a five-cell Quantussy ring that included Frap Tools BAGÀI and the SSF Ultra-Random Redux. My intent was to apply correlated random voltages to a bunch of CV inputs on Mindphaser. But after experimenting with results, in the end I used only four CV inputs: Modulator Oscillator Linear FM, Carrier Oscillator Linear and Exponential FM, and Through-Zero Phase Modulation Index CV. Of course there were many tweaks needed. At one point I tried using an EG/VCA to gate the whole output, but then I discovered that with the sync switch turn on and TZ-PM Index being modulated there were times when the sound went quiet by itself.
I tried different effects, but liked sending the Mindphaser output to the Holocene Nonlinear Memory Machine, which produces a stereo output. That is the configuration for the video and for two of the recordings. I did one take where I used Qu-Bit Data Bender between the Mindphaser and the NLMM.
